Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to even the four-game regular season series with the New Jersey Nets. The first three games between the two teams have been very close, as the average scoring differential has only been 2.6 points (CLe – 93.7, NJN – 96.3). In their latest matchup on Jan. 24, Joey Graham hit a three-pointer off a Ramon Sessions pass to tie the game at 101 with 7.1 seconds left, but Brook Lopez followed with a turnaround jumper in the paint with 1.4 seconds remaining to give the Nets a 103-101 win at the Prudential Center. Cleveland has won nine of the last 11 games versus New Jersey and leads the all-time series 85-64.

The Cavs will play the second of their five-game homestand tonight. In last Wednesday’s road victory over Sacramento, Ramon Sessions had a team-high 20 points to go along with five rebounds and a team-high

six assists. It was the third game this season (ninth time in his career) that Sessions has recorded at least 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. In the 18 games played from February 2 to March 17,

Sessions averaged 16.7 points on .483 shooting, 3.8 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 32.7 minutes per game. The Cavs will remain at The Q to face the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

The Nets, who will begin their three-game road trip tonight in Cleveland, have been limiting their opponents in offensive rebounds. They are allowing just 10.3 offensive rebounds per game (6th in NBA). Last month, the Nets acquired All-Star guard Deron Williams from the Utah Jazz. Through his first seven games with New Jersey, Williams is averaging 14.3 points and 13.7 assists in 39.4 minutes per game. Brook Lopez is the Nets leading scorer, averaging 20.0 points per game.Ramon Sessions scored a team-high 20 points in the Cavs 97-93
