The Cleveland Cavaliers will face off against Central Division rival Chicago Bulls for the first time this season. The two teams split last season’s four-game series with each team stealing a game on their opponent’s home floor. In four games against the Bulls last season, Mo Williams averaged 19.8 points and 6.8 assists, while shooting a staggering 13-29 (.448) from behind the three-point line. Cleveland trails the all-time series 101-79, but is 22-9 against Chicago at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cavaliers, who have the league’s highest scoring bench at 46.2 points per game, are limiting their miscues to only 13.3 turnovers per game, second fewest in the league. On Sunday night against Detroit, Daniel Gibson made his 381st career three-point field goal to tie Craig Ehlo for the fifth-most triples made in Cavaliers history. This season, Gibson has made a team-high 32 three-pointers. After tonight, the team will go on a four-game road trip with stops in Houston, Oklahoma City, Miami and Indiana. The team will return to Quicken Loans Arena on Dec. 18 to face the New York Knicks.

The Bulls are coming off a 99-90 win over Oklahoma City on Monday and currently have the best record in the Central Division at 11-8. Carlos Boozer had 29 points in 12 rebounds in their win over the Thunder. Chicago, the third-best rebounding team (44.3) in the league, is led by the NBA’s fifth-leading scorer Derrick Rose, who is averaging 24.9 points, 8.2 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 38.8 minutes per game. The Cavs and Bulls will meet again at the United Center in Chicago for a New Year’s Day matchup on Jan. 1.
