Extensive experience in criminal litigation. As a senior staff member of the
Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office I demonstrated the ability to be a leader
and foster relationships with governmental agencies and community leaders.
I also trained attorneys, and law enforcement, developed office protocols and
managed personnel issues.

Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office
Trenton, New Jersey April 1 1991- March 31, 2016
Deputy First Assistant from March 2015 to April 31, 2016. Primary
responsibilities included internal affairs investigations, supervision
of the chief of the trial section and trial teams, the special victims
unit, Megan’s law unit, computer crimes unit, insurance fraud unit,
economic crimes unit and corrections investigations. Also a member
of office administrative team and continued to prosecute homicide
cases.
Chief of Trial Section from September 2010 to March 2015. Primary
responsibilities included decision and policy making in conjunction
with administrative team, supervision of trial teams, assignment and
monitoring of post conviction relief and habeas motions. Prosecution
of homicide cases. Provided training of and reviewed investigative
techniques, search warrants, and affidavits.
Chief Special Investigations Unit from September 2009 to September
2010. Primary responsibilities included supervision of junior
attorney’s and detectives investigating higher level drug cases.
Review of wiretap applications, communication data warrants,
various tracking and surveillance device applications and search
warrants. Prosecution of homicide and narcotics cases.

Chief of Homicide from September 1999 to September 2009.
Restructured the homicide unit, acted as the sole on-call prosecutor
to facilitate consistency and stability of investigations. Supervised
county and municipal detectives. Instituted policy for greater
utilization of search warrants, communication data warrants and
wiretaps. Investigated and prosecuted homicides and police involved
shootings.
Trial Team Leader from September 1997 until September 1999.
Supervised junior team members and tried numerous cases including
homicides, drug prosecutions, armed robbery, and welfare fraud.
Special Investigations Unit from September 1994 until September
1997. Junior assistant prosecutor in unit responsible for reviewing
search warrants, grand jury presentations and trial of misdemeanor
and felony cases.
Trial team member from April 1991 until September 1994. Trained
and worked in all courts and units. Litigated all manner of cases
from grand jury through trial phase. Authorized warrants.
