Discover how the UDL framework can help you design flexible, equitable learning opportunities and environments to address the cultural and learning needs of your students. You’ll leave armed with proven tools and strategies to support students on their way to becoming expert learners. With the support of UDL experts and practitioners, individual participants and school teams will construct an effective implementation plan. About the UDL-IRN The Universal Design for Learning

Implementation and Research Network (UDL-IRN) supports the scaled implementation

and research related to Universal Design for Learning. Through collaboration, we support and promote the identification and development of models, tools, research, and practices designed

to foster effective UDL implementation in educational environments. We encourage and

welcome participation in these discussions.

Join us for an immersion into the principles and practices of UDL student-centered design. Through featured speaker, breakout and panel sessions, you'll

learn practical strategies from UDL leaders and experienced local practitioners. Leave with the

resources you need to get started in your classroom.

October 22nd, 2019 Day 2: Facilitated Planning

You're in the driver’s seat. Our national facilitators Kate Edgren, Joni Degner, and Bryan Dean, along

with leaders from the IRN, will be on hand to help you & your team design an effective implementation

action plan. We'll share more in-depth information on designing instruction for diverse learners.
