Dear Parents The following activities will take place for the remainder of the month! Different activities will take place to develop our students’ reading abilities and to encourage their enthusiasm for reading. THESE ARE OUR READING ACTIVITIES Activity 1 Look! I got caught READING! 17 th until 31 ST March 2015 School Activity Students bring books to school to read for the next two and a half weeks here at Hawar. Students are encouraged to read during break, homeroom and every spare time they have at school. Students will receive a reading token from teachers who spot them reading at odd times during the day. Each student must collect the tokens from teachers who spot them reading. The student with the most tokens will receive a certificate at the end of the month. Activity 2 Decorate the class door with “Slogans and Sayings” 17 th March 2015. School Activity The teacher will provide the students with slogans and sayings. The students will write and decorate the slogans and sayings. The students will paste the slogans on the classroom door. Activity 3 Create a Poster Due on Sunday 22 nd March 2015 Home Activity INSTRUCTIONS 1. Take a picture of your child reading a story. 2. Paste it on an A4 paper and send to school. 3.
