The Dr. D Y Patil Cricket Stadium in Mumbai is at the moment the largest membrane roof in India. The shape of the membrane roof was developed in order to avoid any natural shadow on the playground but at the same time able to grant sun protection to the spectators.

Mehler Texnologies always tries to support architects, engineers and fabricators in
their ambition for perfection. Therefore, a number of tools have been developed.
With TensileDraw, users have a new 3D modelling planning software for tensile
structures. It can simulate well balanced force stress distribution on the membrane
surface without complicating file exportation and related compatibly problems.

11Mehler Texnologies‘ membrane VALMEX® FR MEHATOP F is a multi-layer composite
material with special densely woven low-wick yarns in the base fabric. The surface
lacquering, that includes PVDF lacquer (MEHATOP F) developed by Mehler Texnologies,
finishes the material with a double top coat that has a protective and refining effect.
