The Professional Development Institute arms practitioners with new knowledge, strategies, and tools that they can put into immediate use on their campuses. Our innovative approach will help you:

The Professional Development Institute is a unique leadership development

program for higher education administrators working to reduce the risks associated

with alcohol and other drugs, and to address a range of health and wellness issues

on campus. Developed by leading prevention experts and in close partnership with

NASPA, the program combines self-reflection, interactive dialogue, and practical

application of learned skills to create an engaging learning experience.

who should attend: The Professional Development Institute is intended for professionals who carry primary responsibility for alcohol prevention on their campus. This may include:

• AOD coordinators • Directors of health promotion/education • Directors of student wellness • Directors of residential life • Directors of Greek life • Judicial affairs administrators

The curriculum has been carefully designed to be relevant and engaging for both practitioners new to the field and seasoned professionals.

In collaboration with NASPA, EverFi has designed a professional development certificate program for campus prevention professionals. All attendees who complete the program will receive a NASPA Certificate in Prevention Leadership, the first certificate of its kind for alcohol prevention professionals.
