Always ready to protect and serve, the Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) is available in 2WD or 4WD PPV and 4x4 Special Service Vehicle (SSV) models. Both models feature a rugged, body-on-frame chassis and increased horsepower and torque (versus 2014 model), making it the one-and-only full-size SUV for extreme-duty conditions. Tahoe PPV features an efficient 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine, delivering the best highway fuel economy in its segment—even better than Ford Explorer Interceptor.1

Beneath its sheet metal, an extensive use of high-strength steel contributes to an overall stiffer body structure, improving ride and handling. Inside, OnStar with a 6-month trial service, 4G LTE2 with a 3-month trial service, Bluetooth®3 connectivity, and wide rear door openings add convenience. And with dimensions nearly identical to those of the 2014 Tahoe model, it’s easier to transfer necessary equipment to the 2016 model.
