Howdy! My name is Carla Pearson. I have been at Park 20 plus years between subbing, Title 1, and working as a classroom teacher for 19 years. I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction.

Although I have been a resident in Chardon while growing up, I now live in Concord with my son, Noah, who attends C.S.U.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm proud of my Italian culture and I enjoy spending time in my ancestral home in a small village in Italy. Hanging out with my family & friends near and far is very important to me.

One of my goals for my students is to have them become addition & subtraction fact masters by the end of the year. The fact is, you must practice!

I did not know what I wanted to be until I started college and took a class called "Intro to Education". I had a teacher who had us bring in news articles about education and we would discuss them in

class. He told us all the good things about teaching and all the other things that teachers dealt with in their profession. I liked the class so much that I took more education courses and it guided me to

a career path that I love and enjoy everyday - Mrs. Haines
