Ordinary people, living ordinary lives. They, as we all do, live by the rules of time, some more strictly than others. When four very different characters are brought together unwillingly and unknowingly, time is the culprit.
So many of us question whether we’re doing life ‘right’, whether our minutes are manipulated by our plans or by the clock. Everything is put into perspective when the one person who cherishes life to the full, is at risk of running out of time forever.
Novato Theatre Company was founded in 2012 after their sister company, Novato Dance, achieved success. Their performances are entirely devised and explore a range of theatre styles including physical, symbolism and expressionism, with comedy thrown in for good measure!

Critically acclaimed theatre company, MadCap Theatre Productions are thrilled to be returning to The Mission Theatre with Postcards from the Seaside by Laurie Hornsby.
Wireless star Lester Duvall is the new act in town, and while he would rather be at a big London theatre, Thanet seems as good a place as any to escape conscription. But when his tangled web of deception begins to unravel and he finds something, and someone, worth sticking around for, the normally indecisive and immature Lester faces decisions that could affect everything he holds dear.
Set in 1940, Postcards from the Seaside is a new musical that celebrates the Homefront at the time of the Dunkirk Evacuation in this, its 75th anniversary year.

This delightful version of C.S.Lewis’s well-loved tale takes the audience on a magical journey to the land of Narnia, with four children, Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. Entering Narnia through the back of an old wardrobe, they discover that this strange new world lies under the spell of the White Witch. Peopled with incredible individuals – fauns, giants, talking animals and other, far more sinister, creatures – Narnia is a land cursed: it must remain forever winter and never Christmas.
To free Narnia and its inhabitants from the forces of evil, the children must fulfil an ancient prophecy. However, the White Witch is determined they will not succeed and plots their destruction. All would be lost if it weren’t for help in the shape of the mighty lion Aslan, and magic from Before the Dawn of Time. With Aslan at their side the children embark on a thrilling adventure to overthrow evil, fulfil their destinies and help good to triumph in Narnia.

Zenith Youth Theatre presents
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the ForumBy Stephen Sondheim
The multi-award-winning Zenith Youth Theatre return to The Mission Theatre with Broadway’s greatest farce. Fast-paced, witty, irreverent and one of the funniest musicals ever written, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum takes comedy back to its roots. The scintillating script combines situations from the time-tested, 2000 year-old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus, with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville.A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a non-stop comedy in which Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted courtesan named Philia, for his young master, Hero, in exchange for freedom. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity and slamming doors. Don’t miss it!

Trapped in a well shaft for 56 hours, a little girl waits to be found. Above ground, three journalists chase the story every step of the way, framing it for media consumption and spinning it wildly, erratically and erroneously away from the truth. Inspired by true events, this tale searches for answers and scatters accusations as the rescue mission for the child struggles on.
Sharp new writing - interlaced with imaginative tomfoolery and earthy folk music - scrutinises the media’s editorial power over public perception.
‘A sophisticated mix of sharp dialogue and powerful movement… brilliant.’ - RemoteGoat ****
‘Scratchworks just seem, enviably, to do everything well… Don’t miss it.’ - Everything Theatre ****

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Jane Austen’s witty and romantic masterpiece is one of the best-loved stories of all time, dealing with the most important questions in life... Will Mrs Bennett manage to offload her numerous daughters in record time? Will Lizzy and Darcy actually get together? Will creepy Mr Collins just go away please? The literary classic gets the full Pantaloons treatment in this beautifully hilarious and delightfully innovative new adaptation.
The Pantaloons are the “brilliant” (Daily Telegraph), “inimitable” (The Guardian), “wholly charming” (The Times) and “playful” (Mail on Sunday) theatre company taking the country by storm. For more information please visit www.thepantaloons.co.uk
