How Long will You wait? It is clear from the Holy Quran and ahadith that the Messiah (As) was to appear in the fourteenth century Hijri, which is the late 1800’s as per the Gregorian Calendar. “…Then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. (32:5) This verse shows that Islam was to go to the skies after 1000 years, but which thousand years? The ones after the great years, which were first three hundred according to authentic hadith (Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book 78, #686) Surat Al-Jumu'a was revealed to him(Saw), and when the Verse, "And He (Allah) has sent him (Muhammad) also to other (Muslims), it was said "If Faith were at the highest star, even then a man from Salman’s folk (Persian) would attain it."(Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, #420) Many Muslims have misunderstood the concept of the ma- hdi. They think that the mahdi and the messiah are two dif- ferent people, which is based off of unauthentic Ahadith. When we look at Ahadith its clear that they are one. Bukhari and Muslim, do not even mention the Mahdi, rather say: "What will be your condition when the son of Mary will de- scend among you and he will be your Imam from among yourselves."(Bukhari Volume 4 book 55 #658) Ibn Maja supports this by saying: the only Mahdi is ‘Eisa bin Maryam.” (Ibn Maja vol 1, book 36 #4039) "Whosoever lives from among you shall meet Isa, son of Mary who is Imam Mahdi, Arbiter and Judge." (Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Vol. 2, p. 411) Holy Prophet (sa) prophesized that the Muslim Ummah would become identical to the Jews, so much so, as one shoe in a pair resembles the other. We see that the Jews rejected the Messiah (As) who was for their ummah, and the exact same thing has happened to our Muslim Ummah. There were to be 73 sects, of which 72 would be hell abound, and 1 Jamaah on the true path who would be like the prophet (sa) and his companions. (Tirmidhi, Vol. 5, Book 38, #2641). This divine sect was also to have Khilafat on the percept of Prophet hood in the latter days (Musnad Ahmad). The Holy Prophet (sa) had a Jamaah, had caliphate, suffered persecution, was declared kaffir, was banned from hajj, and was victorious. The same is with Ahmadiyyat. Allah revealed to a man in the suburbs of Qadian, that ‘I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth.’ Living your usual life, you come across this brochure, and become a living testament to the truthfulness of the Messiah, Ahmad as by learning more about his message. Look around you, Islam is breaking apart, there is misinterpretation of text to invoke horrific acts, and the world is in a state of destruc- tion and is aching for a divine community. That divine com- munity has been established by Ahmad (As), and within the community there is everlasting peace, unity, and brotherhood. Prophecies Fulfilled by Ahmad(As) from the Holy Quran and Hadith In Chapter 81, Surah Takwir it prophesizes about the signs of the latter days, which are: the Heavenly Eclipses, roads in mountains, new transportation systems, zoos, the linking of oceans, modern day communication systems, women’s rights, and spreading of books. (81:1-10) A hadith that elaborates on 75:7-11, and 81:1-2: The moon will be eclipsed on the first night of Ramadhan (i.e., on the first of the nights on which a lunar eclipse can occur) and the Sun will be eclipsed on the middle day of Ramadhan (i.e., on the middle day on which a solar eclipse can occur) and these Signs have not occurred since the creation of the heavens and the earth.” (Dar Qutni) Lunar Eclipse: March 21, 1894 (Ramadan) | Solar Eclipse: April 6, 1894 (Ramadan) The same then happened again in 1895 for the Western Hemisphere for Ahmad (As), which has never ever happened for a claimant. Ahadith state that the greatest fitnah is Dajjal (Ibn Maja Vol. 1, Book 36, #4077), and when we read the Holy Quran it makes it evident that the greatest fitnah is saying that God forbid, Allah has taken himself a son (19:88-92). Muham- mad sa told us that we can be protected from this fitnah of Dajjal by reading the first 10 verses of Surah Al-Kahf, which also indicate that the Christian Missionaries are referred to as Dajjal (18:4). It is evident that Ahmad (As) defeated the greatest dajjal and other types of dajjal also through logic and rationality. To understand dajjal one needs to look at all of the Ahadith in regards to it including its donkey which was to have a span of 40 hands between his two ears (Musnad Ahmad). This donkey is clearly a metaphor for modern day transportation, for example an airplane. Another prophecy states One should remember visions are not taken literal and have interpretations to them as we see from Quran and Ahadith. Apart from fulfilling all prophecies which Muhammad (Saw) made about the Messiah, Ahmad (As) had hun- dreds of prophecies, and all were fulfilled in their appropriate ways Isa as Description In Comparison to The Isa as of Latter Days The Holy Prophet(saw) had a vision of Isa(As) of Bani Israel and described him to be of red complexion, with curly hair and a broad chest. (Bukhari Volume 4, Book 55, #648, #649) This shows the coming would be a metaphorical coming of someone like Isa(As) from our Ummah. first of the nights on which a lunar eclipse can occur) and the

Sun will be eclipsed on the middle day of Ramadhan (ie on

the middle day on which a solar eclipse can occur) and these

Signs have not occurred since the creation of the heavens and

the earthrdquo (Dar Qutni)

The one who dies without (recognizing and

accepting) the Imam of the time dies in ignorance

(Musnad Ahmad Ibn Hanbal vol 4 page 96)

Is Hazrat Isa(As) Alive or Has He Passed

Away ldquoMuhammad is not but a messenger Verily all messengers

have passed away before him So if he was to die or be

killed would you turn back on your heels [to unbe-

lief] rdquo (3144)

All companions accepted that All messengers before Nabi

(Saw) including Isa(As) had died This was proven at the

death of the Holy Prophet (sa) (Bukhari Volume 2 Book

23 333) The same exact Arabic is used for Isa(As) and all messengers

before him in 575 also stating he ldquoUsedrdquo to eat food(past

not eating anymore) Quran says no messenger was sent

that did not eat food nor were they to live for ever (217-8)

ldquoI said not to them except what You commanded me - to wor-

ship Allah my Lord and your Lord And I was a witness

over them as long as I was among them but when You

caused me to die You were the Observer over them and You

are over all things Witnessrdquo (5117-118)

On the day of judgement Isa(As)says that he was a witness

only until he remained with them but when Allah caused him

to die then Allah alone was aware of their condition (shirk)

This shows the shirk of Christians began after Isa(As) had

died and that he is ignorant of it on the day of judgement

Ahadith support that Holy Prophetsa believed Isaas died a natu-

ral death which is why we have this belief Muhammadsa

quotes Isaas and this exact verse for his own

deathrdquo(Bukhari Volume 4 Book 55 568)

The Quran states that all worshipped as God other than Allah

are dead not living and know not when they shall be raised

(1620-21) Idols do not raise hence this verse is not for them

Nabi(saw) was asked to go to the heavens and bring down a

physical bookAllah in reply revealed to him to say he is just

a human and a messenger (1793) Nabi(Saw) showed us

that physical ascension is impossible for a human

Hadhrat Ibn Abbas(Ra) stated that in Chapter 3 verse 55

where the word mutawaffika has been used for Hadhrat

Isaas it refers to death (Bukhari Kitab-ul-Tafseer Ch 5

verse 117)(Some try to argue what tawaffa means but

Quran makes it clear that it occurs at only death or sleep

(when night or sleep is mentioned Ch 39 verse 42)

Holy Prophet(Saw) statedIf Jesus and Moses had been

alive they would have had no choice but to follow

me(Kathir vol II p 245)He also stated Isa(as) died at 120

years (Kanz al-Ummal vol 6 p 160) It is also clearly re-

corded that Imam Malik (ra) declared that Hazrat Isa (as) has

died (Majma al-Bahar vol i p 286)

Did Isa(As) Physically Ascend to The

Heavens It is a clear fact that Isa(As) has died and that this was the

belief of The seal of the prophets Muhammad(Saw) himself

it is also clear that he did not physically ascend to the heav-

ens According to the Holy Quran Allah is everywhere and

cannot be confined to one location alone Therefore how can

Isa(As) ascend to Him if he is everywhere

ldquoAnd He is Allah [the only deity] in the heavens and the

earthhelliprdquo (63)

ldquohellip And We are closer to him than [his] jugular

veinrdquo (5016)

He is with you wherever you arerdquo (574)

But he is with them wheresoever they are rdquo (587)

ldquoAnd We are nearer to it( the human soul) than you But do

you not seerdquo (5685)

Everyone upon the earth will perish And there will remain

the Face of your Lord Owner of Majesty and Honor

(Chapter 55 verse 26-27)

And to Allah belongs the east and the west So wherever you

[might] turn there is the Face of Allah Indeed Allah is all-

Encompassing and Knowing (Chapter 2 verse 115)

The arsh (throne) is not something that has been created or

something material rather is the name of the transcendental

station which is beyond the beyond Its not a physical throne

where God is sitting rather a station which is beyond from

creation and is a station of transcendence and holiness

Rafa (Spiritual Exaltation) in the Holy Quran

We know the Jews did not kill nor crucify Isa(As) but this

does not mean he is alive in any way His raising was spiri-

tual in status

ldquoHe [Idris] was a truthful man and a Prophet And We ex-

alted him to a lofty stationrdquo(1956-57) (Spiritual)

In fact Allah has an attribute of AR-RAcircFI - the exalter He

always exalts but according to Quran its always spiritual

when Allah exalts a human being

Holy Prophet (saw) states One who shows humility Allah

elevates him in the estimation (Sahih Muslim Hadith

2588) He (saw) also states When a person shows humility

Allah lifts him up to the seventh heaven (Kanzul Um-

maal Vol 2 page 53)

Why Did Allah use Nazul (Descend) for Isaas

The word nazul truly proves a point as to how important

significant and far-reaching the specific thing or person who

is supposed to descend really is

ldquoAllah has sent down to you the Quran [He sent] a Messen-

ger [Muhammad] hellip (6510-11) Nazul is also used for cattle

(396) clothes (726) and in fact everything (1521)

Why do you then use nazul and attribute it to mean Isa

(As) would descend from the skies but not for Muham-

madsa

a cattle clothes and everything else

Concept of Finality of Prophet hood Many Muslims misunderstand khataman nabiyeenwhich

means the seal of the prophets

ldquoMuhammad is not the father of any of your men but he

is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets and

Allah has full knowledge of all thingsrdquo (3340) When

Khatam is used for a group or refers to a rank it always

means best especially in this verse

Holy Prophet(Saw) calls his uncle Hadhrat Abbas

(Ra) Khatamul Muhajireen (Kanzul Ummal Vol 6 p

178) But it does not mean that he was the last Muhajir

(refugee) of the whole Muslim world

Hadhrat Ali(Ra) is called Khatamul Auliya (Tafsir Safi verse 3340) but we know he was not the last saint An Arab poet Hasan bin Wahab called Abu Tamam (the compiler of Himasa) Khatamush-Shuara (see Wafiyatul Aayan Li Ibn Khallikan Vol I p 123 Cairo) The word Khatam therefore used in such phrases means the best and not last as there is no significance in being last

ldquoAnd whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger of His shall

be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His bless-

ings namely the Prophets the Truthful the Martyrs and

the Righteoushellip (469)

ldquohellip Allah took a covenant from the people through the

Prophets saying lsquoWhatever I give you of the Book and

Wisdom and then there comes to you a Messenger fulfill-

ing that which is with you you shall believe in him and

Nabi(Saw) as 337 tells us )

The Holy Prophetsa said There is no prophet between me

Ibn lsquoAbbas said ldquoWhen Ibrahim the son of the Messenger

of Allah (as) died the Messenger of Allah (saw) prayed and

said lsquoHe would have been a Siddiq and a Prophet (Ibn

Maja Vol 1 Book 6 1511)

The Holy Prophet (saw) said I am the last of the Apostles

and my mosque is the last of the mosques (Sahih Muslim

1394)

The Holy Prophet (saw) narrated that Abu Bakr(ra) is the

best in this ummah except there to be a prophet (Kanzul
