This book covers Indiana state standard MA.2.2.1 2000 Model addition of numbers less than 100 with objects and pictures. This book uses Detective Digits to help solve the city of Addition’s math problems and keep the town a happy place!

Hello, my name is Detective Digits. I protect the town Addition. Everywhere you go there is a math problem to be solved and that is why I’m here! When I’m on my break my fa-vorite snack is donuts. I brought in 4 do-nuts for myself and then my friend John brought in one more. Count how many do-nuts I have now!

When I start my shift I always take a nice walk through the town center, by walking through the town center I can check on eve-ryone and see if anything is out of place. Wow! Look there! Someone trampled Miss. Money’s flower beds!

Looks like we got here just in time! Shadow has some beautiful puppies doesn’t she? I wonder how many pup-pies she has now. She had 7 puppies in her litter last year, and now there’s 6 more!
