Schmitz Cargobull's vast practical experience and highlights

For Poor Roads.The Rough Roadpro Utility Package.

Schmitz Cargobull box semitrailers with the Rough Road pro utility

package not only off er you a solid performance advantage under

extreme road and weather conditions in Eastern Europe and Eastern

Scandinavia; the utility package prevents the time-intensive, individual

retrofi tting of the vehicle and proves itself everywhere where the road

quality demands the most from drivers and vehicles. The reinforced

axles, longer spring travel and heavy duty shock absorbers provide high

reserve capacities. The brake disks, suspension bellows, hoses and

control elements are all protected.

The advantages for you are higher availability and transport quality, less

wear, better value retention – and thus lower overall life cycle costs.

For Hard Loading Operations.The Load & Dockpro Utility Package.

The Load & Dock pro package confi gures the S.KO COOL for rough

loading operations and thus ensures low life cycle costs — even

where there is no guarantee that the workers are suffi ciently qualifi ed.

The FERROPLAST® body is extremely puncture resistant and HDR

technology doubles the buckling resistance of the wall surfaces in the

cargo area.

Protective equipment limits the risk of damage to the doors and the

rear wall frame when docking. An electronic ramp approach aid is

included as a standard feature to ensure precise, time-saving docking.

In the worst case scenario, the reinforced rear frame withstands even

hard impacts against the ramp.

For the Best Energy Efficiency.The Eco Coolpro Utility Package.

The S.KO COOL with the Eco Cool pro package possesses two key

features: the FERROPLAST® frozen goods box with new NX 17 foam

technology and increased wall and roof thicknesses off ering premium

insulation properties. A circulation wall and a longitudinally adjustable

partition complete the cooling concept. In addition to lower energy

requirements for cooling, the aerodynamic cladding on the chassis and

the bulkhead also reduce fuel consumption. The chassis cladding can

also be combined with a pallet box. The Eco Coolpro utility package

proves its effi ciency through greater temperature retention and a more

economical environmental balance.

For Universal Fresh Produce Transport.The Flower & Foodpro Utility Package.

The Flower & Food pro package enables the S.KO COOL to fulfi l every

standard required for versatile refrigerated transport – from load securing

to the HACCP certifi cate. The two-chamber setup with circulation wall,

air duct and longitudinally adjustable partition also includes air vents with

customs grilles, where permitted.

The refrigeration unit is available with an optional auto-start/start-stop

function. The double decker loading equipment, or load securing rails,

and the four perforated rails beneath the roof and row of holes milled into

the fl oor, provide a fl exible range of loading options. The full-height hard

rubber protective strip reduces the risk of damaging the doors and the

rear wall frame.

For Constant Temperatures.The Passive Thermopro Utility Package.

With the Passive Thermo pro package, the certifi ed

temperature consistancy of the FERROPLAST® box

eliminates the need for a refrigeration unit over short

distances. This enables you to transport freight more

cost-eff ectively and also reduces maintenance. The

factory-prepared retrofi tting option for a

refrigeration unit and a temperature recorder

enables you to bring your S.KO COOL

up to the ATP standard for refrigerated

vehicles, where needed.

For Safe Ferry Transport.The Ferrypro Utility Package.

The Ferry pro utility package includes load securing rails or double decker

loading equipment. The landing gear with rolling feet reduces the risk of

damage when hitching and unhitching. In order to avoid damage caused

during lowering in roll-on roll-off operations, the rear underride guard with

skids has been moved forwards by 300 mm. The refrigeration unit is

mounted 90 mm lower on the front wall and equipped with a protective

frame. Four pairs of ferry lashings simplify securing when on board. Steel

corner bumpers, a body-width wear plate and hard rubber strips on the

rear wall frame protect the body. A version with three pairs of ferry

lashings is available for accompanied ferry transport along with the

optional underride guard positioned further forward.

The Advantage pro package sets the S.KO apart thanks

to high-quality transport solutions. The utility package

includes load securing rails or a double decker system,

included as a standard feature and professionally fulfi l

demanding safety and documentation requirements. In
