The tubular steel fuselage frame

is delivered to you as a single

unit, pre-welded and primed. All

wing components are pre-formed,

ready for assembly. The metal

ailerons and flaps are factory-

assembled.

The Super Cub's fabriC covering is

pre-sewn at the factory in the

form of sleeves that slip over the

fuselage, wings and tan. The

lightweight Ceconite 7600 fabric

is durable and fire resistant.

The only components not supplied

in the standard package are the

power plant and propeller. The

airframe is designed to accept the

reliable 150 HP Lycoming 0-320

engine with a 74" Sensenich fixed

pitch metal propeller. Piper also

gives you the option of purchasing

the package complete with new

engine and prop from the factory,

or if you prefer, you can acquire a

rebuilt or used engine elsewhere.
