Eagles' Landing Golf Course of Belton opened for public play on October 22, 1999 after completinga 2.25 million-dollar renovation. The course, formerly known as Belton Municipal Golf Course, wasclosed in July 1998 to begin the renovation. The renovation included the rebuilding of all 18 greens,the addition of two practice greens, a new irrigation system, fairway re-grading and drainage, con-tinous cart paths around the entire course and the addition of 45 new tee complexes.

The crowning features of Eagles' Landing are the 69 bunkers that pepper the landscape. With theaddition of the new tee complexes the course now plays around 6900 yards from the championshiptees, 6400 from the white tees, 5700 from the gold tees and 4900 from the red tees.

The course has received wonderful reviews from many of the local newspapers and magazines aswell as from the general public. The course is regarded as one of the best new public golf courses inthe Kansas City area.

Did we mention.....you won't walk away feeling un-challenged. Eagles' landing is also regarded asone of the most challenging courses in the Kansas City area.
