The Johns Hopkins University Retirement Plan Investment Choices through TIAAThe TIAA investment choices include the JHU Select Funds, which were chosen based on investment performance and cost. They were selected with the help of an independent consultant, Aon Hewitt Retirement and Investment, which, along with the university, will monitor these mutual funds for performance going forward.

In addition to the JHU Select Funds, you will find mutual funds from various asset classes – Equities, Fixed Income, Money Market, Multi-asset and Real Estate. You also have access to the TIAA Self Directed Brokerage Account, which provides sophisticated investors with thousands of funds from which to choose.

Go to the online portal from the Retirement Choice welcome page to view, enroll or change your Retirement Plan fund selections, listed by provider. If you select TIAA as your investment provider but you do not open an account online with TIAA, you will be automatically invested in the age-appropriate Vanguard Target Retirement Fund with TIAA until you create an account and make an investment election.
