COST OF FOLLOWING YAHUSHUAProfessing Christians today thought that by praying the Sinners prayer/Salvation prayer once,attending church studies/seminars & going to church every SUN-day, makes them a Christian.

They thought that being a Christian is all about entertainment & fun, gaining worldly riches &

living a wealthy life. So when troubles come their way, they quickly fall away because they built

their faith in praying a sinners prayer & have put their trust in man, and NOT YAHShua.

To be a TRUE Christian, TRUE believer & follower of YahuShua Ha Mashiach has a COST..

It is not by going to church every SUN-day & not by mere professing with your lips

that you are a Christian, but your ways, actions & life do not reflect a life like Christ.

This problem starts with the churches of men who do not preach the Truth of Gods Word

Because they do not have the Wisdom & Spirit of YAHShua.

All they want is to get MEMBERS & grow their CHURCH BUILDING

by having MEMBERSHIP & receiving the MONEY as TITHE OFFERING

They do not really care on every soul that is hungry to know the LORD.They will just say pray this prayer go to our church attend bible studies

join discipleship group youll go to heaven congratulations! welcome to the family of God!

(Last personal words of YahuShua to His Apostles, before He was betrayed & crucified)

The Promise to His DisciplesDo not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me.In my Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.

I am going there to prepare a place for you, and if I go & prepare a place for you,

I will come back and receive you unto myself,

Take you to be with me, that you also may be where I am..John 14:1-3

Where is YahuShua now?

Where is He that is currently preparing a place for His DISCIPLES?

We know that He is ALIVE & is currently in Heaven,in His Fathers House, where there are many mansions.

What is His promise?

I am going there (in my Fathers House) to prepare a place for you,

and if I go & prepare a place for you,

I WILL COME BACK & RECEIVE YOU UNTO MYSELF..

TAKE YOU TO BE WITH ME,THAT YOU ALSO MAY BE WHERE I AM (in Heaven).

I WILL COME BACK..

TAKE YOU TO BE WITH ME IN HEAVEN..This is YahuShuas words.. He will COME BACK & TAKE His followers in Heaven.

1ST TRUTH:

So when people die, they do not really go to heaven right away.

They are asleep in their graves, still waiting for the return of YahuShua, the redemption of their

bodies, and be taken to Heaven those who have fallen asleep & those who are alive IN HIM.

2ND TRUTH:

To be in Heaven, in Gods House, the Fathers House..

is ONLY byYAHUSHUA, the Only Begotten Son ofYAHUWAH.

So it does not depend if you are a good or bad person, if you did not recognize YahuShua,as the Only Begotten Son of YaHuWaH, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.

For YahuShua is the DOOR, the ONLY WAY, to the FATHERS HOUSE in Heaven.

I AM the Way, and the Truth and the Life.

NO ONE comes to the Father except through me.John 14:6

**Next Topic to be discussed: JESUS The ONLY Way, Truth, Life**

IMPORTANT FACTS TO REMEMBER:First: It is clear that YahuShua is the ONLY way for us to go to heaven..

Second: This Promise of YahuShua is ONLY for His Disciples..

Because if you would read in John 13, He is celebrating the feast of PASSOVER with

His Disciples. Therefore, He is speaking privately to His Disciples and not to the public/crowd.

**IMPORTANT TO READ: Understanding OLD & NEW Passover**

HOWEVER, YOU MUST EXAMINE YOURSELVES FIRST..

AND SEE IF THIS PROMISE CAN APPLY TO YOU..BECAUSE, AGAIN, THIS PROMISE IS NOT FOR ALL..

BUT FOR HIS DISCIPLES (BELIEVERS/FOLLOWERS) ALONE..

For there were 3 groups of people when YahuShua walked on earth:

1. Following Crowd - believes that He is the prophesied Christ, Messiah2. Miracle Crowd - follows Jesus because they wanted to be healed or just witness a miracle

3. Apostles among the disciples - who faithfully followed Jesus wherever He went

Examine yourselves and see in which group do you belong:

1. Are you just part of the crowd who believe that

Yeah, Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Only Way to Heaven

but do not learn from Him, listen to Him, follow Him & do what He says?

2. Are you just like the miracle crowd who only comes to Him when you needed something?

You only pray when you are sick, then when you get healed you forget about Him?

3. Are you a faithful believer & follower of YahuShua? You not only believe, but you follow Him

& do what He says? Are you just like His disciples faithfully following Him wherever He is?

Who stayed with Him no matter what situation they have - whether good or bad?

AGAIN.. REMEMBER..

The Promise is ONLY for His DISCIPLES.. and NOT for ALL..

BEING A BELIEVER & FOLLOWER OF JESUS IS NOT A TWO SEPARATE THING..

..If you believe in YahuShua, therefore you will obey & follow Him..

..If you say you believe, but do not actually obey & follow Him,

then you are just deceiving yourself,for you cannot deceive the ONE who sees your heart.

You know what will YahuShua say to you?

WHY DO YOU CALL ME LORD, LORD

AND DO NOT DO WHAT I SAY?

For the one who hears my word& does not put them into practice..

Is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation.

The moment the torrent struck that house,

It collapsed and its destruction was complete.Luke 6:46-49

What must it take then, to be a DISCIPLE of YahuShua?

What is the COST ofFOLLOWING YahuShua?

Following Where?

where again is He? IN HEAVEN..-=-=-=-=-

If anyone would come after me,

he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children,

his brothers and sisters yes, even his own life he cannot be my disciple.

Anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:26-27

DO NOT MISUNDERSTOOD THE SCRIPTURE

BUT SEEK UNDERSTANDING FROM THE LORD, THROUGH HIS SPIRIT..

Hate does not really mean Hate as in this worlds term..

In the next verse you will understand what He meant in Hate..

Anyone who loves his father or mother MORE THAN ME is not worthy of me.

Anyone who loves his son or daughter MORE THAN ME is not worthy of me.

Anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Matthew 10:37-39

In these verses, we now understand what YahuShua meant..

The LORD is not telling you to literally hate them..

In fact the LORD is commanding us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves..

However, the LORD only wants that you love Him FIRST & MOST.

More than your own family even more than your life.

For as the Father sent His only begotten Son whom He loved,

to bear all our sins & shames, for us to be reconciled back to Him.

Even His Son, who has NO sin, loved us so much

that He took all our sins & died for us.

So if the Father & Son, gave up everything for us..

Then the LORD wants you to give up everything for HIM who died for you.

The QUESTION is, How much do you love the One who died for you?Do you love Him enough that you are willing to give up everything for Him?

Do you love Him more than your life?

Do you love Him enough that you would stand up & die for His name sake?

If the answer is NO.. then forget about it. You are not worthy of Him

and you are not His disciple,therefore the PROMISE cannot apply to you.

If you dont want to believe because your church did not tell you these things..

Then you MUST read the Word & learn from those who followed YahuShua..

Calling of First Disciples (Peter, Andrew, James & John)

Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men.- YahuShua

Matthew 4:20at once they left their nets and followed Him.Matthew 4:22and immediately they left the boat and their fatherand followed Him.

Luke 5:11 so they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed Him.

Calling of Matthew/Levi

Follow me- YahuShua

Matthew 9:9and Matthewgot up and followed Him.

Luke 5:27and Levigot up, left everything and followed Him.

SIMPLICITY IN CHRIST:JESUS CALLED THEM & SAY FOLLOW ME!

DISCIPLES RESPONSE WAS IMMEDIATELY GOT UP,LEFT EVERYTHING & FOLLOWED HIM..

WITHOUT QUESTIONS, WITHOUT DOUBTS,

WITHOUT HESITATIONS, WITHOUT EXCUSES..

Cost of Following YahuShua (Luke 9:57-62)

Jesus: Follow me

Man 1: Lord, first let me go and bury my father.

Jesus: Let the dead bury their own dead,but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.Man 2: I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family.

Jesus: No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back

is fit for service for the kingdom of God.

Thesemen of excusesare not fit for the service of the kingdom of God.

Just as with our situation today,

..LORD, let me achieve my dream/career first then I will go and serve you & follow you..

..LORD, let my children finish their study first, then I will go & serve you..

..LORD, let me earn & store money first, before I serve you..

Such people of excuse are not worthy of the kingdom of God.

It is likened to the Parable of the Great Banquet:

A certain man was preparing a great banquet and invited many guests.

At the time of banquet he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited.

Come, for everything is now ready.

But they all alike began to make excusesLuke 14:15-24

Will you also give excuses to the One who died for you?

How to Inherit Eternal Life? (Luke 18:18-22)

Rich Ruler: Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?

Jesus: Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

You know the commandments.Do not commit adultery, do not murder,

do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother..

Rich Ruler: All these I have kept since I was a boy..

Jesus: You still lack one thing.

Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.

Then come, follow me.

When the rich ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth.

Jesus: How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel

to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED?

Jesus:What is impossible with men is possible with God.

Peter: WE HAVE LEFT ALL WE HAD TO FOLLOW YOU!

Jesus:I tell you the truth, no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children

for the SAKE of the KINGDOM of GOD will fail to receive many times as much in this age

and in the age to come, eternal life.

Notice that even though the Rich Ruler has been obeying the commandments

since he was a boy, he still lacked one thing, said Jesus.SELL EVERYTHING YOU HAVE & GIVE TO THE POOR..

after giving up everything.. then come & follow me..

Just as Peter had said, they had left everything to follow Jesus.

So, is the same requirement for us all who wanted to be His disciple & follow Him where He is.

SIMPLICITY IN CHRIST:

..Give Up Everything & Follow Me

Deny Yourself Daily, Take Up Your Cross & Follow Me..

YahuShua did not said, ..build a building & call it church.

nor did he said, ..go to bible college/studies/seminars..

or.. ..join this church, go in this retreat & spend all your money while having fun..

neither did he said, ..organize & form a ministry music/dance/usher/tech/worship etc.. etc..

If you want to serve Him, do what He says..

not according to what other people says.

Deny Yourself Daily, Take Up Your Cross & Follow Me..

This is not too complicated to understand, but indeed is hard to do AT FIRST.That is why Jesus said, it is hard to enter the kingdom of God.

Who then will be saved, they asked.

Jesus answered, What is impossible for man is possible with God.

Are there only few who will be saved, they asked.

Jesus said, Strive to enter through the narrow door.

Many will try to enter but will not be able to & very few will be there & find it.

It seems impossible for us to give up everything in our lives, but if we lay it down at the feet

of our LORD, He will be the One to work & move in our lives by the POWER of His Spirit.

We have to lay it down.. we have to be willing to give it up, though it seems hard at first..

For only if we lay it down, is when the LORD will start to powerfully work in our lives.

It is out of love that we lay it down. It is a freewill sacrifice to offer our lives to be used by

His kingdoms purpose. He does not force anyone, for He has given everyone a free will

to make a choice. To choose blessing than curse. To choose life than death.

He is a GOD of GRACE & not a god of force.

Let go & Let GOD work in us.

By the power of His Spirit in us, He would help us give up everything eventually.

Therefore, if we have given up everything, we are now worthy of Him

and is now fit to be used for His kingdoms purpose.

Denying Yourself Daily..is learning to say..

NOT my will LORD, but yours be done

It is forgetting everything YOU have planned for your life.

Setting aside all YOUR dreams & SELF desires.

It is no longer what YOU want, but what the LORD wants.

It is no longer about YOUR life, but about HE, the author of life.

Therefore, it is when you learn to think LESS about YOUrself,

but always thinking about the LORD, praising Him & giving thanks.

For YOU must DECREASE,so the SPIRIT of GOD can INCREASE its work in you.

Thus, transforming you to be more like Him;

receiving a new heart & renewed mind, by His Spirit;

waiting to be adopted as His Child, an heir of His inheritance.

It is simple as this:

YOU dont plan for your life, but allow the plan of the LORD to be fulfilled in your life.

YOU dont decide, but allow the LORD to help you decide.

YOU dont control your life, but allow the LORD to lead you everyday of your life.

That is why you should always need to seek the LORD to lead you & guide you,

otherwise, you will be going your own way, far away from the ways of the LORD.

Here is where your faith would be tested.Faith that you know He is GOD. Faith that you know He is in Control.

Faith that you know, He works everything for the good of those who Love Him.

Anyway, it is all about faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

Take Up Your Cross..is not only saying..

NOT my will LORD, but yours be done

not only saying but actually obeying the LORD..

doing the LORDs WILL that should be done.

Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven

is my brother and sister & mother. Matthew 12:50

My mother and brothers are those who hear Gods word & put it into practice. Luke 8:21

Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.Luke 11:28

Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me. Luke 7:23

The LORDs will is for us to HEAR His WORD & DO what He says.

The LORDs will is for us to live a HOLY life,

DOES NOT continue to live in sin by transgressing His commands.

The LORDs will is that everyone would come to repentance & have eternal life.

The LORDs will is for us to know Him, through His Only Begotten Son.The LORDs will is for us to preach gospel of the kingdom of God.

Its ALL about the Kingdom of God. The Coming Kingdom which is Everlasting.

So your money, education, career or whatever you have done for your name will not matter..

ONLY WHAT IS DONE FOR CHRIST & FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL MATTER.

That is why we should not work for earthly riches, but for the riches in the coming Kingdom.

For we know that everything we see, will be destroyed.. as everything will be restored,

made brand new.. just as the LORD created the garden of Eden at first.

There is no need to argue, for there is no other willbut to proclaim the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Let the dead bury their own dead,

but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.Luke 9-=-=-=-=-

Then Follow Me..Following YahuShua is simple as..

It is living like He lived. It is serving like He served. It is loving like He loved.

It is giving like He gave. It is sacrificing like He sacrificed.It is being persecuted as He was persecuted, for righteousness & the kingdoms sake.

Whatever the Master did, so the disciple will do. Whatever the Master will suffer,

so the disciple will also suffer. Whatever the Master achieved, so the disciple will also achieve.

If you dont want to share in His suffering, then you are not worthy to share in His glory.

Following YahuShua is living a simple life, separated from the ways of this world,

not glorifying Himself, but always giving glory to the Father in heaven.

Not being proud & arrogant, but serving in humility, kindness & love.

Having mercy & compassion to those who are lost & those who are led astray.

It is not like living the Pharisees,who wanted to receive praises from men, rather than praises from God.

It is not like teachers of the law, who speak for themselves to glorify themselves.

It is not like those who wanted fame, fortune, money, riches, attention, authority & power.

It is not spending & wasting money on material things.

It is not dressing fancy clothes.

It is not going after the ways of the world.

Following YahuShua is living & walking in a narrow road of Holiness,

to the narrow door to the kingdom of God.

It is living a worthy & pleasing life, acceptable to the Father.It is living a life that seeks to follow & obey the LORD.. and also do His Fathers will.

It is living a life to bring praise & glory to God, our Father in Heaven.

It is living an obedient life, of a Son wholly surrendered to the Father whom He loves.

Being a Disciple & Following YahuShua will cost you EVERYTHING.

No body said it will be easy. Even Jesus said, it is hard to enter the kingdom of God.

Breaking the chains of Satans darkness, lies & deceptions

by GODs WORD OF TRUTH!

You are set free! Now follow the Truth!

Abide in the Light! Walk with Christ Jesus!
