The unique nature of many of the support problems experienced underground requires the development of innovative and often specifically tailored solutions. DSI utilise its multi disciplinary team in partnership with the mine and consultants to identify possible solutions. The DSI research and development laboratory test prototypes and staff conduct extensive field trials to provide products and solutions to meet your needs. New products and strategies are delivered with comprehensive training to operators by our skilled staff to ensure the solution is all-inclusive, whenever and wherever required.
Service and SupportAdequately designed and installed ground support is a product of all the elements working together, hence strata reinforcement testing by the same team that develops and manufactures your ground support ensures that all components of your strata support plan work together. DSI technical service representatives are backed by our local team of engineers who have immediate access to the latest worldwide technology through the DSI global network. Underpinning this service is an R & D department which has been continually improving underground safety and productivity since the early 70’s. DSI also support and fund several mining research projects with Australian Universities.
