    This workshop will explore both laboratory and clinical research, regarding the role of amino acids in autoimmune conditions and the control of cytokines that are essential in mediating inflammatory reactions. The interplay and activation of these immunomodulatory systems with botanicals will be discussed. Laboratory and case examples will be presented including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Psoriasis, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Ulcerative Colitis.
