Directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani; Italian with English subtitles. 4:00 PM | Dr. Maxwell Johnson Lectures: “The Blood of the Martyrs ‘Seed of the Church’ Yesterday and Today: Martyrdom in the Early Churches and the Armenian Genocide.” Refreshments will be provided. 7:30 PM | Candlelit Ecumenical Vigil + Armenian Requiem Led by Armenian Priest Der Hovhan, with participation of Syriac Priest Fr. Joseph Amar and Holy Cross Priests. 7:00 PM | 1915: The Movie The film follows a mysterious theatre director in present day LA as he tries to bring the ghosts of a forgotten genocide back to life. Directed by Garin Hovannisian and Alec Mouhibian.
