TMAS (Textile Machinery Association of Sweden) was founded in 1997 to help its member companies improve their export performance. In particular, TMAS:

• represents and supports member companies at major international exhibitions and events

• provides up-to-date information about market opportunities etc. and helps members benefit from them

• serves as a platform for sharing ideas and forming industry strategies

• represents the companies when meeting with national and international authorities and trade organisations

TMAS is a member of CEMATEX (The European Commit-tee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers). Members of CEMA-TEX are the textile machinery association of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Membership in CEMATEX offers a variety of benefits. It facilitates networking and cooperation. It provides an opportunity for taking the lead in creating a “World Forum of Textile Technology” and for assuring the price and quality of key industrial trade shows. It also ensures a clear dialogue and open communication with the EU and other official bodies.

CEMATEX is the owner of ITMA, the world’s largest international textile machinery exhibition.
