Ramco Hilux Boards are very light in weight, having dry

density of 850 Kg/m³. The 6/8 mm boards of size 4’ x 2’

would weigh approx. 4 and 5 Kgs respec�vely. This helps in

reducing structural cost.

Ramco Hilux Boards do not lose their dimensional strength

even when exposed to moisture. Other light-weight boards,

like Gypsum, cannot withstand such humid condi�ons

without having suitable coa�ng on all sides of the board.

The coa�ngs cannot last longer. Once the effect of the

coa�ng wanes, it cannot be redone. Thus the cost of coa�ng

not only makes plaster boards costlier but also unsuitable for applica�on in humid areas. These boards can withstand 99% Rela�ve

Humidity – its expansion in water is the least (0.15%). It can also withstand temperatures as high as 50⁰ C without any change in its

shape and size.

Humid environment is an ideal breeding ground for micro - organisms like fungus and bacteria. Ramco Hilux Boards resist

any such growth and keep the environment sterile and clean.
