Term 1: Stone Age to Iron Age in a shoe box

Your project this term is all about the Stone Age, Bronze Age or Iron Age. Choose an area of

this period in history that you are interested in and start by researching it on the internet,

at the library or at Tunbridge Wells Museum (entrance is free). You are then to present

your findings in an interesting way. You will need to create a model, diagram or detailed

picture to help you show off your knowledge that fits inside a shoe box.

Areas you might want to research:

Hunting, weapons, jewellery, homes and houses, clothing, painting and art, food, stone age

animals, farming, places such as Stonehenge

Be creative in your presentation. How will your project stand out?

Your shoebox will include models or pictures of your researched area, you will also need to

be able to talk about your model. Your notes should be presented in an interesting way

I expect you to spend a minimum of 20 -30 minutes a week on this project (or you can do it

in one go if you prefer!). Marks will be awarded for effort, presentation and content. Your

project is due in on:
