1. ADJECTM $I ADVERBE
Aijectivete Si adverbele sunt folosite pentru a descrie
i"iiir"ti"n'gi verbte. Adiectiiele p,i"Lu* "bhte?' sau
"pritty" descriu su!s!71tivei.'' Adverbele precum"slowly" sau "biautifully" descriu ieibe.
Adjectivele care indicd religii sau nalionalitdli se scriu cu litera
mare, indiferent dacd se referd la oameni sau obiecte:
Gres soes to a Catholic church.
Tom is anE@pupil.
In majoritate a cantilor, adjectivul este pus in fata substantivului.
C6nd doud adjective preced un substantive, ele pot fi legate prin
virgule (r) sau prin conjunc{ia "and". O inqiruire de adjective
este de obicei legatd prin virgula (r) qi la ultimul dinffe ele prin
conjuncfla "and".

. Adjective care sunt asezate infala substantivului:

Adverbele sunt, in cele mai multe cazui, formate din adjective,prin adiugarea terminafiei !g tnsd cu cdteva exceplii.
