Central Texas Area Model Railroaders (CentraMod Inc.) is a Non Pro�t (501.C, 3) organization dedicated to promoting the hobby of Model Railroading.

�ey are located in the Historic Moody Train Depot in downtown Temple, TX. �e �rst and third Saturdays of each month we are open to the public free of charge. CentraMod members also volunteer their time and work hand in hand on special events with the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum, the Temple Convention and Visitors Bureau, Scott and White Children’s Hospital, Various Railroad Historical Societies across Texas, BNSF Railroad Operation Safety, and the Mayborn Museum at Baylor University.

Every �ird weekend in September they have the largest Model Train Show in Central Texas. �is year will be the 31st. �e Temple Model Train Show is presented annually by the Central Texas Area Model Railroaders (CentraMod Inc.) as their primary fund raising event.

�e Show will �ll every room of the Frank Mayborn Convention Center with Models, how-to clinics, Train videos on the big screen, club booths, and on average more than 50 vendors, selling railroad memorabilia, model trains of all scales and railroad artwork.

�ere will be a completed model railroad layout ra�e prize and a Kidde layout that children can run.

�e $5.00 admission is good for both days and a discount is o�ered to senior citizens and active duty military. Children under 12 are free with an adult. Plenty of free parking and RV Sites with electric and water are available.
