Tell me something about yourself.

Well to start off with, my name is Charlene JoseI am a fresh Architecture graduate from Adamson University. Drawing and designing are just a few of my favorite hobbies. I also like browsing the web and reading books to find ideas and further develop my craft.

How will you compensate your lack of experience with this profession?I have two ways. I have seen both work in the past.

1. "I am a clean slate; I do not have any bad habits to add to the organization. As you can see, I am also a quick learner2."I know that a lot of companies in this industry require years of experience. But there are benefits to being fresh. I am very passionate about what I do. Everything is new to me, so I am that much more excited to learn everything. Experienced people, even though they're probably successful, are not as willing to change. In fact, I don't think they're as passionate about the job, because everything is normal to them. We live in a changing world and if you're not motivated to do well, I don't think the company can do well."What are your goals in working with us?I want to gain the most experience I can from a top-notch company, and yours has the reputation of being diversified in many areas. I can learn from all of them.What are your strengths and weaknesses?I feel I could improve on designing Modern style homes. My strength is that Im known for doing whatever it takes to be the best, including improving my education. Or, you could be asked, What was your greatest challenge at your previous employment? Your answer should include how you resolved the situation, such as, My greatest challenge was working with a micro-manager who didnt trust my abilities. I resolved to actively and voluntarily involve this manager in most aspects of my job, and she eventually grew to trust my work.

I believe I could increase your business. I have quite an extensive portfolio of clients for whom Ive successfully worked. Theyve indicated they would refer others to any company with which Im employed.What is your Greatest Weakness?'If you could improve one aspect of yourself, what would it be and how are you currently working on it?''I am a very thorough, meticulous and careful person. Sometimes it can take me a long time to make decisions - I need to weigh up all the options and carefully analyse the details before making a decision. I am trying to get better at working out what decisions should be made quickly and which ones require more time'.'I can be very persistent and determined, so if there is a problem or something I cant figure out, I tend to stay focused on it until I solve it. This can take a lot of my time away from other tasks.I am trying to get better at asking my co-workers for advice or help with something if I am stuck on it for a while, as I know in the long run that this will be more efficient'.

Sometimes I can be a bit too honest when I provide feedback to coworkers. My personality is naturally very straightforward and to the point, and most of my colleagues really value that, but I have learned that there are times on the job when more diplomacy is required.I took a training class on conflict management and it really opened my eyes to the need to communicate differently with different people. So now I am much better at providing constructive feedback, even if it doesnt always come naturally.

Do you consider yourself successfulYes, Im a success person as you can say from my education background and working history. I manage myself well in my career path. As a job-oriented person, I always try my best to do my job whatever it is while committing to the highest performance as possible.
