I. Close Collaboration with Asian countries

It is important to realize technologic innovation in various leading-edge technology fields

with close collaboration

The positive activity of IT industries in Japan and Asian countries

Japan Asian Countries- e-Japan- U-Japan- Next Generation Network (NGN)- Mobile System (3G)- Intelligent transport system- Semiconductor- IT&NW infrastructure technology- Video games and digital appliance - Car electronics

etc.

- Advanced social-infrastructure- Facilitation of e-commerce - Software development- Semiconductor- Manufacturing - Internationally competitive products- Wimax network- Video games and digital appliance

etc.

II. Environmental problems Global Warming Simulated on the Earth Simulator

Because of thin sea ice, the Arctic region is sensitive to global warming. The drastic shrinkage of the sea ice zone results in open sea water, which absorbs more solar energy than ice, and accelerates warming.
