Here’s a professional networking tool you should be using!

How I use it: I connect with my clients, teammates, friends and people across other industries. When I need introductions to a specific person, I search for them on LinkedIn and see who in my network can provide an introduction. This is just like six-degrees of separation.

Communicate w/ Skype

This software provides internet calling and video conferencing for free between Skype users… You need to have a microphone (for audio), a webcam (for video), and a high-speed internet connection. With Skype, you can instant message and call/video conference your contacts.

How I use it: For weekly calls with my remote team… this is a great alternative to “just another conference call” and we get to see one another. This is also a great alternative to using your cell phone or needing an office phone and it’s free.

Collaborate w/ Cross Loop

This is an absolutely great training tool. Consider this: you can see what your teammates see (on their screen) and help coach/train/etc… This software allows users remote control or viewing of another computer. This program is better alternative for Conference Manager when one-on-one.

How I use it: Someone calls with a question on how to navigate a budget model, website, or wants to collaborate on a marketing piece… Launch Crossloop and we’re instantly seeing (and controlling if necessary) the other’s computer.

Access: If you want to see/use someone else’s computer, enter their Access Code

Share: Provide your Access Code for someone else to see your computer

PDF Documents for Free

This is a must-have tool for anyone wanting: To e-mail a in a universal format preserving the exact page

layout. To preview exactly what a document is going to look like when

printed If you want to print something, but you aren’t near a printer

you can print it to a PDF and then later print a hard copy. VERY useful for offline work on a laptop while traveling

How to use:
