TeamTec Stripping EjectorsTeamTec Stripping Ejectors are simple jet pumps driven by water or oil supplied from

conventional pumps. The combination of high quality material and skilful construction offers

the most effective solution to meet onboard requirements.

All standard TeamTec stripping ejectors with capacity more than 100 m³/h are made in

Ni-Al-Bz EN 1982, while smaller size ejectors are made in Gunmetal / Rg 9 NS 16520.

All ejectors have nozzles made of AISI 316 L or Monel.

These material combinations are superior against cavitation, corrosion andwear and tear, and are thus covered by a five (5) year guarantee.

• Nearly perfect vacuum

• Virtually unchokeable

• No strainers needed

• Ideal for handling all kinds of liquid

Installation purpose• For stripping of ballast compartments

• For stripping of cargo hold bilges

Criteria for selection of proper sized ejectors:

• Installation purpose • Liquid type

• Required suction capacity • Estimated suction lift

• Estimated discharge height •Driving pressure/flow

• Flange type

E¾-1-1• Air driven, for evacuating air or gasses in suction line

to centrifugal pumps etc.

• Small and efficient, can be delivered in several material combinations

Mudmixer• For mixing dry powder and liquid for offshore purpose

• Several models from 6" and up to 8" powder inlet

V4-2-5• Usable as vacuum cleaner for sucking up dirt in engine room etc.

• "Standard" equipment for supply ships, for sucking up the remains in the bulk tanks after loading.

• Special air-driven model L4-5-5 also available for same purpose

Multi Vac• Water driven jet vacuum pump, designed for extraction of air/gas in the suction

line for the dredging pump. Results in safe and stable use of the dredging pump.

• Multi nozzle design and can be delivered with number of nozzles according to theships requirements.

Additional Ejector Products/TypesPortable Ejector• Indispensable on product carriers, lube-oil tankers and chemical carriers where it is essential to empty the tanks completely

• Extremely useful on all types of ships for “mopping up” remaining liquid

•With built-in non-return suction valve

Equipped with standard nozzle (other types available):

A – Ejectors, Semi-portable• A-series ejectors were developed for periodic use on board dry cargo vessels. The ejector is intended to be lowered

into the cargo hold until the inlet bell reaches the bottom of the cargo hold. Driving water is normally provided from the fire pump.

• All cargo ships without permanent and dependable stripping ejectors mounted in the cargo hold stools ought to have an A-series ejector on board for emergency use.

• Indispensable for removing of mud & remains in the ballast tanks

• Can be delivered with hose or flanged connections

General comments to installation of ejectors

When installing TeamTec stripping ejectors or ejectors in general,

it is very important that the pipe dimensions connected to the ejectors

have min. dimension to corresponding connections on the ejectors.

TeamTec “in line suction” design gives a higher efficiency than “conventional”

ejectors with suction 90° from the side. In order to make use of this advantage

we recommend the following:

• Suction pipe connected to ejector is recommended to have straight length prior to the suction flange

• If a bend is fitted close to suction flange on ejector, suction capacity will be reduced due to turbulence in the sucked liquid

• Bends on driving water inlet are of less importance as these will create pressuredrops which have to be calculated for the planned installation (same applies for discharge side of ejector)

• It is not recommended to install a bend directly to the discharge flange because of pitting in the bend. Minimum distance between the discharge flange and the first bend should be 3 times the pipe diameter.
