Rock City Kids exists to train up children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6), so they will run

to Jesus, form meaningful relationships within their church, and invite those around them into their

experience. We believe that no matter how young you are, you can make a difference in this world - both

locally and globally.

I COMMIT TO BE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY PRESENT.

While serving on Sunday morning, giving 100% is crucial to the structure and culture of Rock City Kids. We have high expectations but

want to make it easy for you to serve and work around other life happenings. Try your best to figure out your schedule in advance and

submit your availability on a series basis. If you have committed to be there on a Sunday, you need to be there! If an emergency or

unusual circumstance occurs, make every effort to notify your Kids Campus Coordinator as early as possible to work with them to find a

replacement.

LENNOX SUNDAYS - 9:00AM, 10:45AM, AND 12:30PM

REGAL SUNDAYS - 9:00AM, 10:45AM

FAWCETT SUNDAYS - 9:00AM, 10:45AM, 4:30PM, AND 6:15PM

ATTENDANCE

I COMMIT TO BE SPIRITUALLY ACCOUNTABLE TO MY LEADERS, KIDS DIRECTORS, AND PASTOR MATT.

One of the best parts of doing ministry together is that God works through us as a group using the unique gifts and abilities he has given

us individually. Receive feedback gracefully and have a willingness to accept suggestions that come from other leaders. We must be

consistently open to ideas for all areas of Rock City Kids, from the Worship Experience, to Engaging in Community, and Beyond Our Walls

in order to develop new leaders and effectively carry out our mission.

AS WE CONTINUE TO GROW, CREATING THE SAME CULTURE ACROSS CAMPUSES, SERVICES AND

AREAS UNIFIES US.

Using common words and phrases builds familiarity as we interact with parents, new volunteers, potential volunteers,

and others. Together we can consistently communicate our mission and vision and how it is being carried out.

NEVER WALK ALONE DON’T EVER BE BY YOURSELF WITH A CHILD (INCLUDING IN THE ROOM AND DURING

BATHROOM BREAKS). THIS IS A NON-NEGOTIABLE STANDARD THAT IS IN PLACE FOR THE

SAFETY OF BOTH YOU AND THE CHILD. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

DO YOUR BEST TO ENGAGE WITH OTHER VOLUNTEERS WHILE YOU’RE SERVING. USE

COMMON TASKS, SUCH AS SETTING UP, TEARING DOWN, OR PREPARING THE ACTIVITIES

TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH THOSE AROUND YOU.

BRING IT ARE YOU PREPARED TO GIVE THE KIDS YOUR BEST EACH WEEK? TAKING TIME TO PRAY

FOR THE KIDS, READYING YOUR MATERIALS, AND ENERGIZING YOURSELF FOR THE

SUNDAY MORNING EXPERIENCE COMMUNICATES YOUR DESIRE TO INVEST IN THE LIVES

OF THESE KIDS.

WORSHIP EXPERIENCE ONE OF OUR 3 CIRCLES, THIS IS THE TIME WHEN KIDS LEARN ABOUT JESUS ON THEIR

LEVEL THROUGH MUSIC AND PRODUCTION.

ENGAGING IN ONE OF OUR 3 CIRCLES, THIS OCCURS WHEN KIDS BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH LEADERS

COMMUNITY AND OTHER KIDS THROUGH LIFEGROUPS, ACTIVITIES, AND GAMES.

LIFEGROUPS A PLACE WHERE KIDS FEEL SAFE TO ENGAGE WITH THOSE AROUND THEM, BUILD

COMMUNITY, AND APPLY GOD’S TRUTHS TO THEIR LIVES.

BEYOND OUR WALLS ONE OF OUR 3 CIRCLES, THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY KIDS GET TO BE THE CHURCH BY

MAKING A DIFFERENCE BOTH LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY NO MATTER THEIR AGE.

SERVE ONE, THIS IS THE EXPECTATION OF ANYONE WHO IS SERVING WITH ROCK CITY KIDS.

ATTEND ONE WE CANNOT PROPERLY LEAD KIDS IF WE ARE NOT BEING SPIRITUALLY FED OURSELVES.

BECAUSE THIS IS SO IMPORTANT, IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING SERVICE AS REGULARLY

AS YOU ARE SERVING, YOU MAY BE ASKED TO STOP SERVING UNTIL WE CAN WORK

TOGETHER TO FIND A BALANCE BETWEEN ATTENDING AND SERVING.

DO I HAVE TO SERVE EVERY SUNDAY?

WE WANT TO CREATE A CULTURE THAT FORMS MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS SO IN ORDER FOR THAT

TO HAPPEN IT WILL TAKE TIME AND THE MORE YOU ARE PRESENT THE MORE THOSE RELATIONSHIPS

CAN BE FORMED.

DO I HAVE TO SERVE ALL DAY SUNDAY?

TO SERVE MORE THAN ONE SERVICE, JUST LET US KNOW AND WE CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

WHAT IF I WANT TO SWITCH AND SERVE ON ANOTHER AREA OF ROCK CITY KIDS?

WE WANT TO SEE GOD WORK THROUGH YOU IN THE AREA YOU ARE MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT AND

SOMETIMES WE GET IT WRONG SO IF THERE IS A TIME YOU WANT TO SWITCH YOUR AREA OF SERV

ING UP, PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO SAY SOMETHING AND WE CAN MOVE YOU AROUND.
