“The scholarship I received from TASC will help me purchase books and pay off any additional fees I still have at Auburn University. This is important because the more scholarships I receive, the easier it will be to start life after college with a lower amount of debt.”
Miranda W.Trussville, AL
“The funds will be used to pay various costs that go along with studying at a university, whether that is books, fees, or tuition. Unfortunately, gaining a degree is expensive and affording the education necessary is difficult; therefore, this scholarship aids me to be capable of affording my studies so that I may one day reach my goals.”

The Big PictureBesides scholastic performance, extracurricular
activities such as volunteerism, sports
activities, and community involvement are
reviewed during the selection process.
Application ProcessAn official application form is made available
to TASC employees each spring. Applications
are due on June 1 of each year, and recipients
are announced at the end of June.
“I enjoyed filling out the TASC scholarship application because I was able to choose my essay topic and write about something I am passionate about, my future in health care. The funds that I receive will help further my education at UW-Milwaukee, where I am majoring in Nursing and will minor in American Sign Language. I will put the scholarship money towards tuition and books to help me become the best nurse I can be.”
