What is Talend?
• Talend is an open source data integration software vendor which produces several enterprise software products.
History:• Talend was founded in 2005 by Bertrand Diard and
Fabrice Bonan. It was the first commercial open source vendor of data integration software. Other vendors have since entered this market, including Apatar, Jitterbit, Pentaho, and SnapLogic. Non open source data integration vendors include Ab Initio, SAS Institute, Pervasive Software, IBM, Informatica, and SAP.
