Networking Night for Economics Majors Networking Night is a co-sponsored event by the Economics Department and SU Career Services held in the fall and spring semesters. Thanks to Maureen Eastham (Economics Department) and Susan Casson (SU Career Services) for organizing the even each semester.
Multiple employers participate in Networking Night each semester. The list of participating employers that participated this semester included JPMorgan, Ernst and Young, Abercrombie and Fitch, Burlington Stores, Colonial Insurance/Paul Revere Life Insurance, Google, and Teach for America
The event provides economics majors an opportunity to learn of career and internship opportunities specific to their economics training. In addition, the event has helped economics majors gain a competitive edge in today’s job market. After participating in the event, several students have obtained interviews, internships, and job opportunities with employers in attendance.
The next event will be held in the spring. Be sure to watch for emails and flyers promoting the event!
