Section V Media was contacted by the committee to get Cecilia Iglesias elected to congress from the 47th Congres-sional District. We presented our capabilities and recommended a specific digital media strategy tailored to her unique platforms and constituent base using some examples to help visualize our ideas. The committee could not raise enough funding and thus did not have a complete campaign effort. Cecilia Iglesias re-ceived 6% of the vote in the 2010 midterms, painfully proving the danger of overlooking digital media as a campaign tool.
