Print advertising We accept advertising material as print-optimised PDF:s with high resolution, PDFs, by e-mail or through a file service like sprend.com. You can download ICC-profiles and job options for Indesign from Puna Musta, www.punamusta.com. Go to ”Instructions and tips” and download ”Punamusta ICC profiles”. Use ISO Coated V2 300 for the cover and PSO_LWC_Improved_eci for the insertion

For good printing results, the following specification mustbe followed:

1. Format and format settings• The advertisement must be supplied in a high-resolution

(300 dpi), print-optimised PDF format

• Images must be converted to the printing house’s ICC profile and be 300 dpi.

• Used fonts must be included.

• In the event of a bleed size, crop marks must be specified. OPI links must not be used.

2. Text, font• Only use fonts in postscript type Type 1, Open Type or

Unicode. Other font types may not be used, including com-posite fonts.

• Avoid using ligatures when setting the text.

3. Colour space• Only CMYK. (RGB, Pantone or ”spot colors” and

similar are not allowed.)

• Do not use 4-colour in black text

4. Size• Always supply the advertisement in a size that corres-

ponds to 100% of the booked advertising space.

• Bleed sizes must have crop marks and be supplied with at least a 5 mm bleed. Full page 210 x 297 mm (+5 mm bleed) and spread 420 x 297 mm (+5 mm bleed). Please note that the magazine is glue binded. If the ad is a spread, the information in the middle will disappear. Count 5 mm to each side.
