Senior Project Manager - Office of High School Renewal (June 2004 – July 2008) Performed as integral part of a highly functioning team to design reform initiative that lead to the creation of 12 small high schools and the redesign of 5 district high schools into small learning communities resulting in the creation of 36 high schools and

● Defined business requirements, budget needs, schedules, resource allocations, schedules, assumptions, constraints, and risks associated with project plans.

● Managed cross-functional interdepartmental team responsible for the conversion and re -design initiative.

● Collaborated with and coordinated work of partner agencies in design, mentoring, coaching, and community partnerships in the creation of small high schools and small learning communities

● Designed planned and facilitated small school design conferences for 200+ participants to inform potential groups of the proposal process, timelines and expectations for small school design

● Designed, constructed and implemented online management toolkit and technology tools to facilitate and manage design work with the assistance of webmasters and software engineers

Curriculum Integration Support Specialist - Office of Instructional Technology (September 1997 – December 2002) Worked as member of cross-functional team to facilitate the installation of electrical and data upgrades to 136 school buildings to fulfill Mayoral objective of being the first school district in the US to have networked all of its schools.

● Collaborated with engineers and architects to design electrical and data infrastructure for three new state-of-the-art educational facilities.

● Project managed the execution of $75 million electrical and telecommunications wiring construction contract in 136 school buildings ahead of schedule and under budget

● Designed and implemented technical training programs for 500 administrators, teachers, and clerical employees (curriculum design, trainer recruitment, scheduling, registration, and oversite of training staff).
