The Surface Engineering Technical Committee of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) is soliciting papers and presentations for STLE 72nd Annual Meeting & Exhibition May 21-25, 2017 Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Georgia .
We are looking for papers and presentations in the multidisciplinary area of Surface Engineering, topics include but are not limited to:
Coatings to include but not limited to; PVD, DLC, Nano coatings, Electroplating, DC, Pulse, Plasma, Laser treatment, Sputtering (DC, RF), Composite coatings
Surface Texturing and Roughness Optimization
Surface Modification Technologies and Process Control
Near Surface Material Modifications
Surface/Substrate Characterization
Quality Control and Non-destructive Surface Examination
Biomimetics and Bio-inspired Surfaces
