Goal 1: Increase options for students

• Expand APS developed blended learning courses for high

school students to accelerate learning or provide

additional support

• Review and replicate successful elementary and middle

school programs

• Increase middle school offerings to meet demand

• Include science courses at the high school level

• Identify causes for decreases in the SOL pass rates for

the make-up and strengthening courses

• Recruit teachers with a history of success in the courses

needed

• Provide professional development
