According to Dr. Ruth Peters, a clinical psychologist, who has specialized in treating children:

•On average, students lose approximately 2.6 months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation skills during the summer months.

•All students experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer.

This summer, please join us at St. Patrick’s first Summer of Learning, S.O.L. program. We are offering many new classes that will strengthen the foundation of all the core subjects, and challenge

students who want to take learning to a new level, while experiencing an enjoyment in learning.

Not only are the great core classes being offered for those who want

to sharpen their basic skills, but exciting extra curricular classes will be offered like Student Outdoor Learning, Arts and Crafts, and Salsa lessons. These classes will be free to those who register for the full program.
