Across the country, the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is a national initative to simultaneously teach as many children as possible to swim. The Portland metro area has a goal of teaching 1,500 children. 15 Minutes of the lesson will be spent on water safety. 45 minutes will focus on swimming fundamentals.

This will be an overnight trip to Eugene, Oregon to participate in the “Blackberry bRamble” community cycling event. You’ll be able to choose your ride distance - 40, 20 or 10 miles.
This trip is specifically designed for participants needing some form of accommodation, although everyone is welcome regardless of ability or need for accommodation.
All sorts of adaptive bikes will be available for the ride including tandems, recumbents, trikes, and many hand cycles!
The trip cost includes transportation, adaptive bicycles (or bring your own), event registration, and overnight camping accommodation.

World’s Largest Swimming Lesson
Across the country, the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson is a national initative to simultaneously teach as many children as possible to swim. Come to this after party even if you don’t participate in the World’s Largest Swim Lesson. There will be snacks and activities for youth and their families. This event is open to the PSU community!

The best way to find out how to join a club is to contact one of the student leaders by clicking on the
club above or by coming to the Rec Clubs office located inside the Rec Center.
You can start a new Rec Club! It is formed by groups of students with a common interest in sport and
recreation who collectively organize and participate in activities related to that club. Visit here to learn

DROP-IN SPORTS
Drop-in sports allow members the ability to show up and participate with others also looking
to play in a variety of sports offered. During these scheduled times, the Rec Center identifies
activities that will take priority on specific courts.
All activities are organized by the participants and house rules are posted in the gym to help
keep the games moving and members rotating through the activities.
