Submit tEAm REpoRtSAfter you have completed the TEAM monthly reporting process, and generated all of the necessary TEAM reports, use the below checklist to submit your TEAM reports to TRS.

This checklist provides a high-level overview of the submission process. Be sure to access the following TRS Reporting Entity (RE) Portal Training Resources link for more detailed information: http://www.trs.state.tx.us/employers.jsp?submenu=recertification&page_id=/team/re_certification_training_resources.

1. Access the RE Portal.

z Type your User ID and Password.

z Click Log In. Your RE’s (LEA) homepage is displayed.

2. Submit reports.

z Under Wage & Contribution Reporting, use the Create and Maintain Reportsactivity to create and submit the following reports:

The RE Portal allows users with Administration, Submit, or Signature authority level to submit the following types of reports to TRS.

ß Employee Demographic (ED) - Used to report employee demographic information, new and adjusted employment and position information, and employee termination information.

ß Regular Payroll (RP) - Used to report employee compensation and contribution details, as well as adjustments to compensation and contribution detail from previous months.

ß Regular Payroll - Adjustment (RP - Adjustment) - Used to report adjustments to employee compensation and contribution details from previous months.

ß Employment after Retirement (ER) report - Used to report employment information, compensation, and surcharges for retirees, as well as adjustments to previously reported retiree employment information, compensation, and surcharges.

ß Employment after Retirement (ER) report - Adjustment (ER - Adjustment) - Used report adjustments to previously reported retiree employment information, compensation, surcharges.

3. Submit signatures.

After each detail (i.e., individual employee or retiree) record is assigned a Valid status, the report (as a whole) is assigned a Pending status. Once in a pending status, the RE Portal allows users with Signature authority level to review the totals for the included employees and retirees, and then sign the report using the Submit Signature activity under Wage & Contribution Reporting to accept the completed totals.

4. Check the TEAM report status and make corrections.

After the signature for the RP, RP-Adj, ER, and ER-Adj are accepted, and errors are corrected, the reports are assigned a Completed status. All reports, except the ED report, must have a Completed status.
