INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS: The Internship Program is one of the many projects Pinnacle Conservation conducts. It offers workplace experience and valuable exposure and opportunities for life skills development. The program is designed in consultation with various education institutions including colleges, universities, etc.
EXPERIENTIAL TRAINING INTERNSHIP Pinnacle Conservation has various student internship opportunities available for a wide spectrum of school leavers through to university graduates. These include students who require the necessary bridging and practical experience in their desired fields.
PRE-INTERNSHIP This program is offered to students who are unsure what career path
to take or what to study, whether it be environmental of business
fields. Students are offered a 3-6 month internship in which they are
exposed to various career fields. An overall assessment on the school
leaver’s performance is given as well as assistance in getting into the
desired field they want to enter.
JOB SHADOWING / VOLUNTEER Pinnacle Conservation also offers a job shadowing /volunteer program where anyone passionate about the environment can join any of the projects. This gives volunteers the opportunity to get exposure on how to run community projects and outreaches, providing them with experience in their desired field.
INTERNATIONAL The international student program offers students the experience of
living and working in South Africa amidst other students, as well as
getting practical experience on preserving and conserving our endemic
wildlife. This program is aimed at being a once in a life time opportunity
for foreign students and environmentalists.
