You will be asked to give this book between 1 – 5 stars. I know you will have liked this book or else you would not have chosen to read the whole book and then take time to review it. But think very carefully before giving it 5 stars. Think about a best book you have ever read or heard read to you. If this book isn’t exactly that great, give it 4 stars. If it was just good, give it 3.

In your review, you must:

1. Give the book stars…carefully!

2. Write what the book is about. This is called a summary. A summary is not the same thing as a retelling. A summary is much shorter than a retelling, and a summary does not have a lot of details. A summary gives the big picture! It is written so that the reader wants to read the book. Be a salesperson!

3. Sign your first name, grade, teacher. Example: Sophia, 2nd grade, Mrs. Cintas’s class

Happy Reading!
