COMPANY PRESENTATION

The Company Strojírny a stavby Třinec, a.s. is a stock-holding subsidiary company of TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a.s. The company has a long-term tradition and has been passed by many organizational changes in the market during company´s activity.The company is focused on custom-made engineering production for foreign markets and for maternity company too at present. We perform repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment of TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a.s. in field of mechanical, electric and building works too.Our manufacturing programme is focused on custom-made production of technological units and weldments incl. the CNC machining, structures, smith forgings and metallurgical rolls for hot rolling process in the engineering.The building industry activity ensures especially industrial and civil building incl. the turnkey projects (complete supplies) and road building incl. the repairs.

Quality Control Management System:

The Quality Management System acc. to EN ISO 9001:2015 is in compliance with International Standards and regulations. It provides guarantees, that conditions for conformity of delivery with requirements specified by a customer have been created. The Quality Control Management System refers to all processes and activities of company.

The Environmental Management System - all utilized technology, materials and means of production used in Strojírny a stavby Třinec, a.s. are carefully chosen in reference to Integrated Quality System EMS to minimise negative impact to environment according to International Standard EN ISO 14001:2015.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration system according to EN ISO 45001:2018.

The Energy Management System - in accordance with the EN ISO 50001:2018 Standard. The company is focused on effective management with energy, trying to continually reduce the energy demand, which leads to reducing of costs and environmental impact.

Product certificates provide a quarantee that technical and utility parameters comply with the demands defined in specific standards.

We produce smith forgings up to the weight 3 tonnes incl. the heat treatment, roughing, finish

working in the field of forgings.

We offer:

• Forged bars of circular, square section and step sections

• Semi–manufactured products for producing of die forgings and tool steel

• Both simple and complicated hand–made forged products

Production of metallurgical rolls incl. the renovation

Manufacturing and renovation of metallurgical rolls (hot rolled) is one of the company‘s activities with long-term tradition. Roll calibration is performed by the conventional necking down (shaped lathe tools) or on a CNC lathes. The maximal weight of a workpiece is 40 tonnes, the roll length is 6 500 mm and the diameter of a roll body is 1 600 mm. We machine rolls made of steel cast iron, alloyed grey cast iron, ductile cast iron and forged rolls and sintered carbide rolls. We produce finished rolls incl. the calibration and finishing operations as the milling of engaging grooves and planes and grinding of roll necks.

Worn-out rolls are renovated by means of turning on a lathe or welding on including welding on of calibrated rolls.

Quality material of machined rolls:

Steel cast iron, alloyed grey cast iron, ductile cast iron, forgings, sintering carbide material
