Dollar slips versus currency basket
Oil rises above $81 on dollar
Crude oil stocks rose by 670,0000 barrels
Copper bounced on Wednesday
Gold firmed on Wednesday as dollar weakness helped the metal recover from the
previous session's 2.5 percent slide, with the softer U.S. currency boosting interest in
the metal as a safe store of value. Copper bounced on Wednesday, recouping earlier
losses as the dollar dipped and markets reassessed a surprise interest rate hike by top
consumer China.
