Position Title Australian Institute of Health and Welfare – Project Officer Intern Location Sydney, NSW Position Duration Minimum of 152 hours or 4 weeks full time Commencing December 2019 Position Overview The AIHW Flagship Reporting Unit produces the Australia’s health and Australia’s welfare reports. The work of the unit is varied and involves project planning, coordination, research and analysis, writing, editing, reviewing, supporting and liaising with individuals and other units, and working with external contributors and reviewers. Assist in the production of Australia’s health 2020. This will be the first edition of Australia’s health in the new format, consisting of a web presence and print publication. The intern may contribute to the coordination and development of online snapshots and/or print articles. Position Overview

The AIHW Flagship Reporting Unit produces the Australia’s health and Australia’s welfare reports. Eligibility Requirements

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Australian citizens, permanent residents and international students with full working rights

Identify as having disability

Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
