Audio: Calm, slightly eery music. Possibly piano. Voice Over of Stepfather begins “Don’t worry about your mother girls…”

Angle: High angle, show lack of power and vulnerability of the two sisters.

Shot: Medium Close-up.


Audio: Calm, slightly eery music. Possibly piano. Soundbridge of voice over from previous shot, finishes sentence; “You’ll be living with me now” Sound sting as his hand makes contact with Jess’s shoulder.

Shot: Wide shot of girls sitting at dining table, trying to contact the dead. After 3 second hesitation, everything in the room moves and salt is blown of table.

Audio: Music Stops. Dialogue – Charlotte: Mum, if you’re there, can you please give us a sign. Sound sting as everything suddenly moves.

Transition: Cuts to black.

Time: 5 seconds.

Shot: Close-up of Jess in bed. Shallow focus on Jess, until dolls house lights flicker, in which shallow focus switches to deep focus.

Audio: Creepy, low pitched music.
