HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT ROLLING LADDERFOR YOUR APPLICATION

Size Considerations• Select Platform Height, also known as Top Step Height, based on operations

being performed.• Platform Height is where the user generally stands. Make sure you have

minimum clearance of 6 to 7 feet from the ceiling or any object suspended from the ceiling to insure the user has room to stand safely.

• Maximum convenient working height is 5 feet to 6 feet above the platform height.

• For larger ladders, choose a wide ladder over a narrow one if space permits. For bulky loads, consider a stairway slope ladder and/or deeper top step.

• Consider limitations on ladder dimensions imposed by doorways, aisle width and corners the ladder needs to turn. For tight spaces, select a narrow or all directional ladder for maximum maneuverability.

Note: Load capacity (lbs.) is the combined weight of the user and materials.

Lockstep Ladder Spring Loaded Casters

Abrasive Mat Tread (R):Great in a clean retail environment.

Perforated Tread (P):Provides excellent slip resistance. This tread

design is used extensively in retail and storeroom applications.

Expanded Metal Tread (X):This aggressive tread is ideal for the warehouse

or retail fl oor. This design is self-cleaning allowing foot debris to fall through the tread.

Serrated Tread (G):The most aggressive. This tread design is ideal for the shop fl oor or any industrial application where

maximum slip resistance is required.

Weight Actuated Lockstep Ladder

Climbing PositionThe typical incline of a rolling ladder is designed for the user to ascend and descend facing the steps. However, “Stairway Slope” or “Walk Down” ladders have a more moderate incline, approximately 50 degrees, enabling the user to descend facing forward which is safer and more stable while carrying heavier and bulky objects.

Ladder Inspection ProcedureShipments are made FOB factory. Each product has been inspected before shipment. Consignee is responsible to inspect material at time of delivery, and should refuse shipment or make written notice to carrier upon receipt of damaged materials.

Carriers and Ballymore will not accept claims if damage is not noted at the time of delivery.

Freight Ballymore can provide estimated freight cost based on our preferred carriers. Note: Costs are subject to change depending on fuel surcharges, special delivery requirements, etc. Ballymore will not be responsible for differences in freight estimates and actual freight costs.

On collect or 3rd party billing shipments, any freight claims must be handled by the customer, including refused shipments.

Single pedal lifts ladder into rolling position.

Apply 70 pounds of pressure to the steps and the ladder automatically drops the front feet to the ground securing the ladder to the fl oor for safe climbing.

Component parts carry individual warranties as provided by the manufacturer. Our warranty does not extend to parts or end products subjected to misuse, neglect, damage in shipment, by accident or failure to comply with operating instructions. We will repair or replace any unit which is defective during the warranty period if that unit is returned to our factory properly packaged with transportation charges paid. Claims for unauthorized fi eld labor or time charges will not be accepted. Company will not be responsible for any consequential damages of any nature.

RETURN POLICY Written factory permission must be received prior to return. Returns must be in good condition and made within 30 days of original shipment. Freight prepaid. Restocking charge of 20 - 25% on standard items, 50% on aluminum and stainless.
