Due to popular demand, this is a repeat of the November 2015 course. This course will focus on common paediatric orthopaedic conditions encountered in Physiotherapy practice. It will be of great benefit to physiotherapists working across a wide range of settings including private practice, community health, special schools, outreach programs to mainstream schools and paediatric acute health services.
It is suitable for:
• New graduates
• Experienced clinicians with limited paediatric exposure
• Clinicians returning to paediatrics
• Clinicians wanting to update their paediatric orthopaedic knowledge
The course will guide you through differential diagnosis, medical and physiotherapy management and when to refer on for further investigations. Day one will focus on conditions in infancy through to pre-school years. Day two will focus on conditions effecting primary and secondary school age children and those that occur across the spectrum from birth to 18 years. Presenters are experts in their field and there will be a differential diagnosis workshop at the end of day two.
*This program may be subject to last minute changes due to speaker availability. Places are limited so please register as soon as possible.
