KELBLEY APPOINTED TO DIOCESAN PASTORAL COUNCIL

Joe Kelbley was recently appointed to the Diocesan

Pastoral Council for a three-year term, effective

immediately. Bishop Daniel Thomas appointed him the

representative for the St. Francis of Assisi Deanery due to

his dedicated service to the St. Wendelin community.

The Diocesan Pastoral Council provides an invaluable

service to the diocesan bishop and the local church by

offering counsel, making informed decisions, and in

facilitating information exchange between the Office of the

Bishop and the 15 deaneries that make up the Diocese of

Toledo. Congratulations!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS LADIES AUXILIARY BYLAWS: New bylaws for the Ladies Auxiliary

have recently been approved. If a member goes between six

months and three years without paying dues, there will be

an additional fee of $2 added to current dues in order to

reinstate membership. There will also be a 90 day waiting

period to participate in club drawings and/or scholarships.

If dues have not been paid for a period longer than three

years, the former member must apply for new membership

with current dues and an application fee in order to be

reinstated at the next meeting.

MEETING: The Ladies Auxiliary #1197 will hold its

next meeting Tuesday, February 7th at 7:00 AM at the club.

Members are encouraged to attend.

POPE FRANCIS’ FEBRUARY PRAYER

INTENTION: COMFORT FOR THE AFFLICTED

That all those who are afflicted,

especially the poor, refugees, and

marginalized, may find welcome and

comfort in our communities.

LEVEL 3 SNOW EMERGENCY GUIDELINES Whenever a county/city within the Diocese of Toledo is

placed under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, during which all roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel, the Catholic Churches within that geographic region will cancel the scheduled Saturday Vigil, Sunday, or Holy Day Masses. Catholics in that region, therefore, are dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass. If Masses are cancelled, Catholics are encouraged to participate in Holy Mass via television, radio, or internet, making a spiritual Communion. When Mass is cancelled, all other diocesan, parish, or school events in that geographic region are also cancelled.

FELLOWSHIP SUNDAYS We are in need of individuals,

couples, families and groups to host Fellowship. There is no cost and it is a great way to meet new parishioners and renew old friendships. Call 419-435-6692 for details.

HAVE YOU BEEN FORMED? It is a gateway to some of the best Catholic teaching

videos, books and audio talks to deepen your relationship with Christ and His Church. It’s all in one place, accessible on most devices! Access is easy. Register at FORMED.org, then enter the parish code: 9MFYXP. These materials are a great source of faith!

NEW CHILDREN’S CONTENT NOW AVAILABLE!

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS Blood Pressure Screenings will

be offered the second Sunday of

each month after all Masses in the

Parish Hall through the month of

April. The next opportunity is on

February 12th.
